a few pics from last trip....

  1. Was this area sloped at all or did you have to build up the back?

  2. yes, and yes. the sage brush in the background is about 4 feet lower in elevation from where the pic was taken. you can see a bit of the Jeep on the right side as it heads down the hill. so, yes the land is conveniently sloped at this part of the property (the rest is basically flat). the hill was excavated into so it was flat with the sagebrush grade, the containers were dropped into the excavated hill cavity, and then the excavated dirt was used to build up the back and sides. for what I wanted to do, i truly lucked out with this piece of land.

  4. i do the same Augie, but yep, to far away! i'm feeling the need for another visit RIGHT NOW, but can't get away for a week or two...i'll holler at you when I head West!!!
